- 1). Press the "Send" key on the handset device.
- 2). Use the number pad to enter in a phone number. Place your finger over a number key and press down quickly. The BlackBerry 9530 uses a push screen technology so you will need to press down firmly rather then tap the screen.
- 3). Press the "Send" key to place the call.
- 4). Press the "End" key to end the call.
- 1). Press the BlackBerry icon. Press the "Message List" icon from the list of applications.

- 3). Use the dial pad to type a phone number in the "To" field. Use the on-screen keyboard to type a message in the body.

- 3). Use the on screen keyboard to fill in the text boxes under "Appointment Information."
