- 1). Start Flash CS5. Click the "Flash Document" link in the middle Create New column on the starting screen.
- 2). Click the "File" menu. Select "Import" and click "Import to Stage" from the fly-out menu. Browse to the image to start the morph and double-click it. It appears on the stage and the timeline indicator keyframe appears as a solid dot.
- 3). Drag the timeline indicator to the keyframe where the morph should end, such as keyframe 60.
- 4). Right-click the keyframe and select "Insert Blank Keyframe." The picture disappears from the stage and that keyframe gets a hollow circle dot in its marker on the timeline.
- 5). Click the "File" menu. Select "Import" and click "Import to Stage" from the fly-out menu. Browse to the image to end the morph -- this should be a different picture than the first -- and double-click it. It appears on the stage and the timeline indicator keyframe changes to a solid dot.
- 6). Click the hollow vertical rectangle in the keyframe directly to the left of the second solid dot. If you used keyframe 60 for the end of the morph, the rectangle is in keyframe 59.
- 7). Open the "Property Inspector" panel if it is not already open at the bottom of the screen. Click the "Tween" button and choose "Motion." Note that the timeline becomes shaded with blue and has an arrow pointing between the two morph keyframes.
- 8). Test the morph by dragging the timeline indicator back to keyframe 1. Click the "Control" menu at the top of the screen, and click "Play."
