- 1). Connect the Zune to the PC using its USB cable. Wait a few seconds for the PC to recognize the device and open the Zune software.
- 2). Click the "Settings" button, which is toward the top right corner of the software window.
- 3). Click "Set Up Wireless Sync." Wait a few seconds while the software searches for and lists available Wi-Fi networks.
- 4). Locate your wireless network's name and click on it.
- 5). Click "Show Advanced Settings," choose your network security type -- such as WEP or WPA2 -- and enter your password. Wait a few seconds while the software attempts to connect to the network. Click "Finish" once the software indicates it's connected.
- 1). Select "Settings" on the Zune device.
- 2). Click the "Wireless: Off" label to turn the setting to "On." If wireless label indicates it is already on, skip clicking on it.
- 3). Choose "Wireless," then choose "Sync," then choose "Sync with PC." Wait while Windows automatically installs the drivers it needs to perform the sync -- this happens only the first time you run a wireless sync. Now, any time the Zune is on, connected to a power source and within range of your powered-on PC, it should sync automatically.
