Using the Mouse

• 1). Drag your mouse pointer across the section of text that you want to copy. This will highlight the text.
  
  
• 2). Click the scroll wheel or middle mouse button, if you have a three button mouse. This will copy the text.
  
  
• 3). Place your mouse pointer where you want to paste the text.
  
  
• 4). Click the scroll wheel or middle mouse button a second time. This will paste the text that you just copied.
  
  

Using the Keyboard

• 1). Highlight the text that you want to copy.
  
  
• 2). Press the "Shift," "Ctrl" and "C" keys simultaneously or press the "Ctrl" and "Insert" keys simultaneously to copy the text.
  
  
• 3). Place your cursor where you want to paste the text.
  
  
• 4). Press the "Shift," "Ctrl" and "V" keys simultaneously or press the "Shift" and "Insert" keys simultaneously to paste the text.
