Video: Chicken With Rice & Broccoli Recipe

Hi, I'm Rosie Battista with I Cook Naked. And of course, I'm not really naked, but I am bringing you a naked recipe. So, what does that even mean? It means food in it's most natural form without all kinds of processed ingredients and extra added stuff that your body doesn't really like. So, what do we have here? Simple, simple, we're making a sauce with miso, peanut butter and rice vinegar. And I already prepared some rice, some brown rice in my rice cooker which was a no-brainer. 'Some steamed broccoli and some baked chicken. So, if you're really lazy, you could actually order from a Chinese restaurant and get steamed chicken with broccoli and a side of brown rice. And come home and make your own sauce. Because the sauce is where we get really kind of screwed up, because we don't know what's in it when we order sauce out. So, our sauce is going to be so simple, it's two tablespoons of three ingredients. So, we have rice vinegar here, two tablespoons. And you can't really screw this up, if you decide you like one flavor better than another, then just add little bit more of one thing, it's no big deal. And two tablespoons of miso. And you can see, I'm not such a good measurer when it comes to cooking. And I actually call it concocting because it really almost doesn't matter and you're going to adjust according to what you like anyway. So, I'm going to mix this up, I'm just doing it by hand. So, I'm going to give this a little taste to make sure I like it like this, um, it's amazing. So, I have the option now of mixing this altogether or just putting a little bit on the side and dipping in as I go along. And that's actually how I prefer it. But you can feel free to mix this in and mix it all up and it's delicious that way too. So, here you go, I'm ready for my lunch with half a cup of rice, half a cup of chicken, half a cup of steamed broccoli and I'm good to go. I'm Rosie Battista, ciao for now, while I go chow on this.
