In the world of internet marketing, SEO and link building, the most common advice other than getting indexed with search engines, is to write articles for other sites/blogs. These can give you one way backlinks good for raising your site profile and also help optimize your sites for search engines. The only trouble is it does take along time and some sites may only allow one link per article. Thats why many people start looking for short cuts. One of the most notable is the sites offering 100's of backlinks for just one submission. Most of these sites will take one article and through manual spin meta tags generate different versions of the same article.To do this a user would have to create different versions of some sentences or paragraphs add the meta's. These sites claim this is considered original content.

Sounds good doesn't it, well actually not really. Firstly however much care you take when spinning your article will never be unique enough, unless you planning on writing 4 or five artciles rolled into one. Secondly Search engines will catch on sooner or later because lets face it it is a shady practise which is artificially boosting links for the purpose of SEO. So in fact, in the long run you can be doing more damage than good. Thirdly often you have no say on where your submissions are going. Last thing you want is to be going to sand baoxed sites. Lastly getting 100 links from one article in a short period of time is likely to get you sandboxed. This means delisted from search engines.

This is why manual submissions are still the way to go, mainly because they are natural. they can be planned and constructed better and you know where they are being posted which is good. The quality of backlinks are far better and so are the chances of driving quality traffic. When it comes to these multiple submission sites its best left alone or done with extreme moderation.
