From Dave (aka Nyteskyz):
Here's my first one, I tried an easier one to start off. First I duplicated the image, and then used desaturate to bring it back to black and white.
I used clone stamp and the spot healing brush where necessary to remove spots and lines. Then I used a levels adjustment to try and improve the lighting, and brightness and contrast.
Then it was sharpened slightly and I used the sharpen brush to bring out a little more detail along the body lines.
For the white border, I made a new layer, filled with white, lowered the opacity so I could the image below, and made a selection with the rectangle marquee tool leaving a even border. Then deleted the inside of the selection, and raised the opacity back to 100%
I would like to have it more 'in focus' but I'm afraid that may be lost.
