- 1). Read the sink manufacturer's installation instructions to determine the proper spacing for the sink clamps.
- 2). Turn the head of the each sink clamp to fully extend each clamp.
- 3). Place the tapered head of one sink clamp into the mounting channel located under the sink and hand tighten the screw to hold the sink clamp in place. Repeat the process with each sink clamp, keeping the spacing between the sink clamps specified by the manufacturer.
- 4). Put on your safety glasses and lie on your back inside of the sink cabinet.
- 5). Place the tip of the screwdriver into the slot located on the bottom of one of the sink clamps and turn the screw clockwise to lock the sink clamp to the counter-top.
- 6). Repeat the process until all the sink clamps are tightly secured to the counter-top.
- 7). Inspect the area where the stainless steel sink meets the top of the counter-top to ensure that the flange is pulled down tight. If you notice any area of the stainless steel sink flange that is above the counter-top, tighten the sink clamp in that area to pull the flange tighter to the counter-top.
