How Do I Get Really Clear Skin?

    • 1). Wash your face every morning and night with a gentle, mild bar soap. Rub some soap on your hands and massage your face with small circular motions for about 30 seconds. Rinse all traces of soap from your face with warm water. Pat (don't rub) dry with a towel.

    • 2). Apply a dime-sized amount of oil-free moisturizer to your face after each washing to promote soft, supple skin. The lack of oils in the product will ensure that your pores don't get clogged.

    • 3). Dab an acne spot treatment over any existing problem areas before bed and let it sit overnight.

    • 4). Use a facial scrub once a week to remove dead skin cells that can build up and cause breakouts. Make sure to moisturize afterward.

    • 5). Wash your pillowcases once a week so that the oil and buildup that collects on them can't cause you to break out while you sleep. Likewise, try to get a good amount of sleep at night so that your skin cells have time to regenerate properly.

    • 6). Drink at least six glasses of water a day to help flush away any toxins that can cause breakouts.

    • 7). Leave any existing pimples or blemishes alone. Poking and popping can cause scabs or scars and make the life span of the blemish much longer.
