- 1). Use the Internet to search for free, open-source software that allows you emulate "Guitar Hero" on your PC, or otherwise download "Guitar Hero" songs.
- 2). Find a program, such as Frets on Fire or Red Octane, and download it to your hard drive.
- 3). Install the program by running the Setup application or unzipping the folder.
- 4). Follow any installation prompts to get the program up and running on your computer.
- 5). Choose songs from the software that you would like to play on your computer and download those as well. The songs should be on the same site as the program you downloaded.
- 6). Run the program to play "Guitar Hero" songs on your computer.
- 7). Adjust the keyboard settings and bind the keystrokes to the arrow keys to play "Guitar Hero" using the computer arrow keys.
