How to Refill Epson Ink

    • 1). Seal the ink exit hole on the bottom of the cartridge with a small piece of aluminum tape.

    • 2). Drill a small hole on the top of the cartridge using the thumb drill. Drill the hole almost 25 percent of the way from the right hand side of the top of cartridge.

    • 3). Fill the syringe with 15 milliliters of ink.

    • 4). Insert the needle of the syringe into the fill hole of the cartridge. Push the needle into the sponge and inject the ink until the cartridge is full.

    • 5). Seal the fill hole with aluminum tape.

    • 6). Leave the cartridge for an hour before installing it into the printer. The sponge needs to absorb the ink. If you don't intend to use the cartridge and plan to store it for some time, don't pull off the tape from exit hole.

    • 7). Remove the tape from the exit hole and install the cartridge into your printer.

    • 8). Run three to five test prints before printing any document.
