How to Apply Motocross Graphics

    • 1). Grab a rag and some soapy cleaner and thoroughly clean the entire area in which you plan on applying your motocross graphic. The area must be spotless as the presence of any type of dirt or dust will cause the sticker to adhere improperly and may cause it to peel or fall off in the future.

    • 2). Use your heat gun or hair dryer to warm the application site. If the site is too cold, it will work against the adhesion process once you apply the graphic.

    • 3). Peel back a small corner of the graphic from its backing and apply it to the bike. Make sure everything lines up and that the sticker is straight, and then slowly push the rest of the graphic against the bike. Watch out for any sections that may stick out and make sure they do not rip. Push down hard on the graphic as it is being applied to prevent any air bubbles from appearing.

    • 4). Squeeze out any remaining air bubbles once the graphic has been applied by pushing down on the bubble and moving it towards the edge. It may take a few minutes, but the air bubbles should eventually go away. If air bubbles remain after 5 minutes of pressing down, use a pin and pop the hole.
