I have been exploring my new Paleo diet for six months now and am very excited to write about some of the challenges and success I have had with it so far. Hopefully one of you will get something really great from this article and boost your paleo lifestyle for the better. No egg paleo bread, no problem. Please see my solution at the end of this article.
The biggest challenge has been my five year old daughter who is in school and the fact that she wants to eat a sandwich with her friends. I have found some great paleo bread recipes, and no egg paleo bread recipes all with different pro's and con's.
The first paleo bread recipe I want to tell you about is great for crackers, pizza and pita like bread.
It has a wonderful clean white color and a soft creamy taste that goes with anything. This is definitely our family favorite. The only down side is that it is time consuming to make every week because of
having to roll it out quite thin and bake the crackers separately. I still make it every two weeks because it is so good that makes it worth it.
The second paleo bread recipe is from my cook book I bought online there are many different types of Panini type breads that are easy and quick to make. They are so easy and reliable that you can literally through them in the oven a night if you run out and have something healthy and guilt free to give your little angels for school the next day.
The stress that comes with choosing a healthy paleo lifestyle is very difficult if you obsess and make things harder than they should be. I made that mistake with being unwilling to try different recipes in
the fear that my daughter would reject the other paleo breads. To my surprise she was very receptive and excited to try the different flavors and textures of the bread and it gave me the freedom to
experiment and mix easy recipes with the more time consuming ones according to my schedule and families needs.
In closing best of luck and fun for your ongoing paleo bread baking and creating, don't be scared to try and fail you will come out on top and your family will enjoy being a part of the creative process.
If you have a family with allergies such as eggs (like mine) keep in mind that just because a recipe calls for eggs that is no problem: just use 1 tsp flax seeds ground mixed with 3 tsp hot water and for each egg and the recipe will turn out great.
