- 1). Visit the Gazelle or KEH website (see Resources), and enter in your lens details to get a buying quote. An offer will appear on your screen, which is how much you will be paid for your lens. If you want to accept the offer, you must enter in your contact details, and make arrangements to ship your lens to the buying company. You get paid once they receive your lens and confirm its condition
- 2). Post a listing on the Fred Miranda forum (see Resources) if you want to set your own price. Other places to sell your lens by setting your own price include your local newspaper classified ads, eBay and Craigslist.
- 3). Walk into some local camera shops to see if they buy used equipment. For instance, in New York, Cameta Camera and B&H Photo buy used lenses. The offer you get may be similar to what you get from a buying site like KEH.
