The Baltimore Ravens will look to boost to 2-0 in exhibition play once they face the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium on Saturday night. Kickoff in this weekend's 2014 NFL Preseason Week 2 clash involving the Ravens and Cowboys is placed for 7:00 p.m. (ET); the overall game is likely to be broadcast go on the NFL Network. Things could not have gone better for the Ravens in their preseason opener against the 49ers last Thursday. Baltimore looked like a well oiled machine on both sides of the ball, posting 27 first downs and 386 total yards while limiting San Francisco to 13 and 187, respectively.

Joe Flacco completed 4-of-5 passes for 52 yards in limited action as the Ravens ground game churned out 237 yards on an incredible 48 carries. The impressive rushing effort helped Baltimore secure a 39:37 to 20:23 time of possession advantage and, more importantly, a 23-3 victory.

Unfortunately for Dallas, it was on the receiving end of a similar performance in its Week 1 preseason outing with San Diego. The Chargers generated 395 yards of offense and averaged 15.2 yards per pass in blasting the Cowboys 27-7 last Thursday at Qualcomm Stadium.

There have been, however, some nice moments for Dallas in the loss. The Cowboys kept the Chargers out from the end zone in the initial quarter and they also struck first on offense, as Brandon Weeden engineered an 11 play, 80 yard touchdown drive to begin the next quarter. Weeden, who got the start with Tony Romo still coping with back surgery, completed 13-of-17 passes for 107 yards en route to a 111.6 passer rating.

Weeden figures to have plenty of action against Baltimore on Saturday; however, Romo is scheduled to create his preseason debut this weekend.

The Cowboys have a fresh offensive coordinator in former Rams head coach Scott Linehan, so that it is likely to be essential for Romo to have some in-game reps over another few weeks.

I think it's been proven too many times that if you take too long of some slack or don't get reps under you you will be exposed in certain areas €¦ I think in the event that you get the chance to play, you've got to play.€
