Specifications for a G61V Signature Lennox Gas Furnace

    Features

    • The G61V High-Efficiency Gas Furnace is Energy Star qualified and this series of gas furnace has a maximum annual fuel utilization efficiency (AFUE) rating of 95 percent. This means that of every dollar you spend on your heating bill, at least 95 cents goes to heating your home. This furnace has the ability to run on either gas or electricity, allowing you to choose from the cheaper of the two fuels. The cabinet of the furnace is insulated to reduce heat loss and noise.

    Specs

    • Nine models comprise this series of furnaces. The 36B-045, 36B-070 and 36B-071 models' dimensions are 40 inches high by 17½ inches wide by 28½ inches deep. The rest of the models are 40 inches high by 17½ inches wide by 28½ inches deep. All come with a two-stage gas valve and variable-speed fan motor, which nearly continually and efficiently runs at a low speed. This keeps the unit from constantly turning on and off, which causes sharp temperature changes in your home. The low fan speed also ensures that you have a constant supply of warm air. These units also come with a humidity control feature to decrease the quantity of water molecules in your home air. All models use either one or two 16-by-25-by-1-inch side return filters. They also use one of the following bottom return filters: 16-by-25-by-1, 20-by-25-by-1 or 24-by-25-by-1 inches.

    Components

    • The G61V High-Efficiency Gas Furnace comes with the Duralok Plus heat exchanger, which is made of ArmorTuf steel, and it has the silicone nitride SureLight igniter. The secondary heat exchanger and the cabinet are made of stainless steel. This series of furnaces comes with the SureLight control board, which outputs error codes when your furnace has a problem.

    Warranty

    • The furnace comes with a limited lifetime warranty on the heat exchanger and a five-year limited warranty on components. An extended warranty is available, covering up to 10 years.
