Keep Your Job

In these times that we live in now many have a hard time getting a job, but there are also those that do have a job but can not hold on to them.
As a business owner I have seen a lot of things, so I am going to share with you some ways that I no will help you keep your job.
Try to view the firm or your place of employment through the eyes of your employer; by doing this you will think about your conduct and how it affects your place of employment.
Follow the firm's policies; do not suggest any great change unless you are invited to do so or have considerable experience that you feel that will absolutely help not only yourself but the firm also.
If you are an expert, do not refuse other work simply because it is different from what you're good at; as a business owner I can tell you we are always looking at those who show leadership qualities.
Be respectful and polite to fellow employees and superiors; by doing this you will make it pleasure to be around you and build trust and respect from others.
Be on time be punctual and do not miss work for any reason unless it is beyond your control; remember that if you miss, you make it hard on others, and to your employer it may seem like you're not serious about having this job.
Do not be so concerned about your rights that you forget your responsibilities as an employee.
During work hours, do not be playing video games or other personal things like checking emails or Facebook without permission.
Never take home something from work that does not belong to you without permission; for example, if you had your own business would you like to have employees that you trust? Your boss feels that way.
Never have the attitude that "he is rich" or "she is rich, they won't miss it," that is how some justify stealing; remember that honesty always pays off.
It is the right course.
Honesty can mean the difference between your keeping a job or losing it, so be determined to be honest no matter what others do.
They are not the ones paying your bills or writing your check.
Show interest.
Be willing to work overtime when necessary, or when menial jobs need to be performed; those who are overly concern with time or compensation show that their heart is not in their work.
Keep in mind that work done willingly and not under compulsion generally gets well rewarded and you feel better about yourself and your job; you see, it's something about us when giving from the heart it makes us feel better.
Another way you can show interest is during slack moments at your job is by cleaning up a bit in your work area, or maybe you could speak to your supervisor to see if you can help out somewhere else.
Employers appreciate workers who see the work that needs to be done and who take the initiative to do it; for example, you can open the door for someone who's trying to bring in supplies.
Be a part of the solution; do not bring your personal problems to your employer, they have enough on their own.
If an unexpected problem arrives related to your work think in terms of solutions.
So the next time someone says to you they are looking for a job you are now in position to help them to keep that job once they land it.
