- 1). Place your stereo removal tools in the dual holes in the front face of the sound system in your vehicle.
- 2). Press them hard until they click.
- 3). Push them in toward each other and pull the stereo system out of its slot.
- 4). Plug the cord from your XM transceiver into the "Satellite Radio" port if your radio has one. If not, plug it into the "Line In" port.
- 5). Place your XM radio transceiver in a place where it will be easy to access. The kit comes with an adhesive or clip-on stand to make the process easier.
- 6). String the included satellite antenna around the base of the floor of your vehicle and up the crack of the passenger door.
- 7). Mount the antenna on the roof of your vehicle.
- 8). Gently slide your stereo back into the slot where it was previously located, making sure it clips back in.
