How to Watch Video Streams on My Pocket PC

    • 1). Use a pocket media player to watch live video streams. Download a copy of PocketTV to your computer. Transfer the .cab file to your Pocket PC with your USB cable. Install the .cab, by simply clicking on it, and launch PocketTV to start watching video streams (see "Resources").

    • 2). Use your currently installed web browser to navigate to a mobile friendly "streaming web portal"--a site that hosts links to streaming videos (see "Resources"). Tap on the video link that you want to watch--the video will load and play in Windows Media Player Mobile.

    • 3). Install a third-party web browser that supports video streams. Download Skyfire to Pocket PC and install the .cab file (see "Resources"). Launch Skyfire, and navigate to your favorite desktop streaming site, like Hulu or YouTube, and watch video streams just as you would on a desktop computer.

    • 4). If you purchased your Pocket PC through a cell phone company, use the streaming media software installed by your company. Cell service providers like Sprint, AT&T and Verizon pre-install their PDA phones with popular mobile media streaming apps--like MobiTV and SprintTV.
