- 1). Place your Garmin Nuvi GPS in a padded box or packaging envelope along with a copy of your proof of ownership document(s) and a note to Garmin describing the problem.
- 2). Mail the package (insurance and a tracking number is recommended) to the following address:

Olathe, KS 66062 - 3). Allow several weeks for Garmin to process your request. When you receive the device in the mail, set a new PIN by going to "Tools," selecting "Settings," choosing "Security" and then pushing the button underneath "Garmin Lock." Follow the on-screen prompts to set up your new PIN and secure location.
