Hemorrhoid cure with alternative option is something you should consider other than surgery. Every country the world over has hemorrhoid sufferers with about 10 million estimated to be living in the US. Hemorrhoids affect anyone, of any age, of any sex, of any race and nationality. And, each of these sufferers spends an inordinate amount of time trying to find that elusive hemorrhoid cure which will end his pain forever.
Unfortunately, there is no real cure. Treatments, ointments, home remedies and scams can be found all over, and some do appear to give sufferers a fair amount of relief and hope. A good number of therapies exist only in specific geographic locations and are based essentially on local beliefs, what ingredients might be available, and perhaps even some rudimentary medical therapies that are used locally.
For those really demanding something close to a cure, they need to consider surgery. Your doctor will help you choose which surgical option might be best for you and he will take into consideration things like where your hemorrhoids are located, how large they are, whether they are bleeding, and how often you experience pain. If you only have sporadic incidences your doctor most likely recommend some less invasive treatments to start with.
However, for patients with pain virtually all the time, surgery might be the only way to go.
Hemorrhoid surgery hasn't changed much in about 50 years. The premise remains the same - tie off and remove the hemorrhoid at its base, and suture the resulting wound. The same technique is the same for internal and external hemorrhoids. And of course, you should expect some post op pain and discomfort which should easily be controlled with some pain medication. Expect to be in bed for a few days.
This is absolutely not a quick procedure where you can head back to work the same day. You also should keep in mind that you already have weak tissues in that area; you may be predisposed to new hemorrhoids sometime in the future.
