And the situation in which you are unable to sleep after a long struggle or have no signs to sleep, is known as insomnia.

Causes and Symptoms

Insomnia is just a symptom and it is not a disease. The commonly well known problem of insomnia is lacking of quality sleep. It is normally caused by having a racing mind,  daily stress, nightmares, night sweats or frequent nocturnal awakening. This symptom is quite often found in teenage students and working adults. The reason of having night sweats or frequent awakening, could be due to your high internal body temperature.
