Sayid Not Getting Anywhere

Sayid bangs on a door. Jack asks how it's going and Sayid says, "It's not."
Jack shows Sayid the magnetic wall and Sayid thinks it's interesting. Sayid lifts a grate in the floor and says, "Perhaps we can go under it."

Sawyer's Friends

The cover of the pit opens and the big guy throws down a rope and tells Sawyer to grab it. Sawyer says, "I ain't doing nothing 'til I know if my friends are okay."
Michael peers down into the pit, "So, we're friends now, huh?"

Ana-Lucia says, "Do it now or the rope comes up."

Sawyer grabs the rope and is pulled up. "Howdy boys, thanks for the rescue," he says to the small group standing around.

Michael says, "Everything's cool. We had a talk and they believe we were on the plane, too."

"Swell," Sawyer says. "I guess we can all sue Oceanic together."

Ana-Lucia notices that Sawyer is clutching something and asks what it is. He doesn't say and she asks if it's a rock, if he's looking for revenge. She tells him to drop it before she counts to three, then counts to two and elbows him in the face. Sawyer goes down and she tells him he had better listen to her and do as she says. She stomps on his wound.
Ana-Lucia says they are moving out and Sawyer asks where they are going. "What did I just tell you?" she says.

"Sorry, forgot," Sawyer says. "Just one more thing, though, you hit me again, I'll kill you."

Ana-Lucia grins and then says, "Let's go."

Michael and Jin wait for Sawyer and they all go through the jungle.

Record Player

Locke finishes telling Charlie about the button and Charlie is amazed that Desmond pushed the button every 108 minutes.

He is also amazed that there is a record player and food.

Locke the Liar

Hurley sits alone and Charlie comes along and sits next to him. He tells Hurley that he knows about the food, and Hurley says that Locke is lying. Charlie catches Hurley in the lie when he says, "Is he lying about the button that you have to push every 108 minutes or the island will explode?"
"It's not going to explode," Hurley says.

"Ah," Charlie says, pointing at Hurley, who finally gives in.

"Look," Hurley says. "Jack put me in charge."

"Is there peanut butter?" Charlie asks. Hurley says there is and Charlie asks for some for Claire.

"No can do, man," Hurley says.

Charlie says that Hurley has become "one of them." The man, the management. "I thought we were friends. You've changed, man."

Hurley's Flashback - DriveShaft Singing

Hurley and Johnny look through CD's in a store. In a sales bin they see DriveShaft and try to sing "You All Everybody", but can't remember the words.
Hurley says he's going to go check out the headphones and Johnny says, "Sure, headphones."

Hurley goes up to the counter and the girl there seems happy to see him. "Hugo!"

"Starla," he says.

"Why aren't you chuckleheads at work?" she asks.

Johnny comes up and says, "We're currently exploring other opportunities."

She says that they are messing with her world view. Hurley is her rock and if he quits, the world will fall apart. He asks her if she wants to go out on Friday, but she quickly shoots him down, saying she has to work. He downplays the invitation, but she says, "I could probably go Saturday. Is that cool?"

"Yeah, that's totally cool," Hurley says.

As they walk out, Johnny asks what's gotten into him. He'd been crushing on Starla for months.

Hurley says, "Nothing, I just wanted to ask her out before..."

"Before what?"

"Nothing," Hurley says.

Caught in the Shower

Sayid and Jack crawl under the bunker. "I believe we're under the area where we began," Sayid says. "They poured concrete all the way down here, too."
They crawl forward through a bunch of pipes. Jack wonders what it is. Sayid says, "My best guess? There's a geothermal generator behind this wall. That's the power source."

They hear a hissing sound and Jack follows it. He opens a grate and climbs though. He is in a room that is filled with steam, and a towel covered Kate steps out of a shower. Embarrassed, he asks how the shower was and Kate picks up her clothes and says, "Uh, pressure sucked, it kind of went cold at one point, and it smelled a little bit like sulfur, but it was a shower."
