Travlrvern writes: ?I really have in days gone by enjoyed this soap but why when there is the most interesting dialogue happening, the horrible music drowns out most of it? Is it to cover poor delivery from the actors at that particular time? And please bring back David and Kevin! I also miss Kelly.?

Dear Travlrvern: I have had e-mails from other fans in the past that comment that they are very annoyed by the background music on the show and on other soaps.

Honestly, I have never been bothered by the music and never found it to drown out the dialogue. As a matter of fact, I usually find the music adds to the drama of the scene, especially when it?s an especially touching or sad scene. I highly doubt that the music is meant to cover up bad acting. That would never occur to me as a reason to have music on the show. Everyone wants David back and we will see him again soon for a while. I was sorry to see Kevin and Kelly leave the show. Even though my favorite Kevin will always be Tim Gibbs, I think Dan did a good job with the role and I think Heather Tom was one of the best Kelly?s we?ve ever had.

Jamie writes: ?Revenge? So, now Antonio is out for revenge, huh? So you like Jessica and Nash and really expected him to stay in business with Nash? If he really wanted revenge, he would NOT have given Nash a chance to buy him out. Like Antonio said, he does not owe them anything. It?s not Antonio?s fault that Nash gambled away all his money. Gee, you really do not think much of Antonio, do you??

Dear Jamie: Call it revenge; call it whatever you want.

I think that Antonio has been so badly hurt that taking revenge on Nash is the only way he can vent some of those feelings. He claims that it?s not revenge and that he just wants to end his connection to Nash and Jessica, so what would have been the big deal for him to wait a week for Nash to try come up with the money? Antonio knew that by selling to someone he considered a complete stranger that it would hurt Nash because he wouldn?t have control over the business and I don?t blame him for wanted to have nothing to do with them. However, selling to the first stranger that comes along was vengeful no matter which way you twist it and try to make Antonio look better. Antonio has a right to his anger, but let?s call a spade a spade.

Mary writes: ?What happened to John's burn scars? Did he have some miracle skin grafts off screen? I didn?t think he had time for surgery when he's so busy running around trying to save Marty.?

Dear Mary: I?ve been asking that question for months. I guess John is just a miraculous healer, LOL! Hey, this is Soapland. We couldn?t expect a guy like John to walk around with half his face scarred for very long, could we? It?s totally unrealistic, of course, and if John didn?t have to run around Llanview saving everyone?s life, it would have been refreshing to see him have a couple of surgeries every so often to eliminate those scars.

Madelyn writes: ?Is Dorian more annoying lately than usual? The topper was asking Blair how her hat and the necklace she was wearing looked before she went to Asa's funeral. Also, her conversation with Joey (I cringe every time she calls him Joe) was truly disturbing. Speaking of Joey, I think the OLTL writers should consider bringing his character back on a full time basis. I forgot how handsome he is and we need a new "hunk" on OLTL. Maybe Joey can help out Natalie at BE, because it looks like she is totally clueless. Do you agree??

Dear Madelyn: I don?t know if Dorian is more annoying lately or if I?m just getting sick and tired of her antics and selfishness after all these years. Now that she?s involved with Clint she is certainly more of a thorn in Viki?s side than ever before, so I guess you could say that she?s more annoying these days because she?s part of every Buchanan event and crisis. I definitely agree that the writers should bring back Joey. Unfortunately, we don?t have much chance of getting Nathan Filion back since he?s doing well in prime time, but a new Joey would be a great idea. I?d like to see Kevin, Kelly and Zane back in Llanview, but I wonder how much TPTB are willing to give us back the core characters that we love best.
