You may or may not have heard that cell-phone usage might be exposing us to radiation at unhealthy levels.
Worldwide there are nearly two billion users of cell phones (over 200 million in the U.
S.
).
They've been relegated to an almost necessary technological fixture implying everyone needs one to stay in frequent contact with family and friends.
Over a million businesses worldwide use cell phones to buy and sell products.
Investors call brokers to buy and sell gold, stocks, silver or currencies every hour of the day via their cell phones.
To date, research has been mixed.
According to various experts such as Dr.
George Carlo, the cell phone industry's ex-chief scientist for their $28 million safety research project, he thinks we might see a major healthcare crisis before too long.
He further thinks the world may see "500,000 brain and other cancer cases annually," due to the proliferation and popularity of cell phones alone.
Cell phone usage has already been -theoretically at least - linked to a range of ailments such as high blood pressure, early onset of Alzheimers, frequent headaches, and various cancers, according to experts in the field.
Even though such research is preliminary and more is needed, they state the effects of radiation accumulates in our bodies and affect different people in different ways.
Maintaining a clear head and a healthy body is mandatory to manage the finances of a business, the family budget, or planning investments via online sources.
Developing good habits to limit your exposure is the wiser choice as no one has any time to waste.
Here then are a few ideas to help reduce your risk and exposure.
1.
Limit your time on the phone.
Only making the most necessary calls helps reduce your exposure.
Keep your phone calls as short and to the point as possible.
In lab tests, research has shown that a short, three-minute call alone is capable of "altering normal electrical activity of the brain up to one hour.
" 2.
Text when you can.
If a text will work for the message, send it in lieu of dialing.
Of course it's dangerous to do this when driving or any other activity that demands your best attention.
It would be safer to pull off the road for a minute if your message is so important it can't wait.
3.
Replace your current phone with a lower-radiation phone.
When someone receives a call or places a call, the signal from the phone transmits via electromagnetic waves.
Scientists claim they don't know - for sure - how bad those electromagnetic emissions can affect one's health during a time period.
Scientists and researchers in the cell phone industry strongly recommend each person replaces their present cell phone model with a lower-emission phone.
Consult the Environmental Working Group at EWG(dot)com to see their chart (online) rating cell phones electromagnetic waves output, you will be surprised.
4.
Use a headset or speaker.
The research is too sparse yet to say for sure if using a headset or speaker, rather than the phone itself, would offer more protection.
They say one fact is known: that the electromagnetic waves transmitted by the phone is most frequently [absorbed] in the temporal lobe of our brains, during daily usage.
The temporal lobe handles auditory processing, vision, hearing, speech, and long-term memory.
5.
Don't put the phone on your waist or by your body during use.
"It's a device that emits and transmits electromagnetic waves that are absorbed by the soft tissues in your body.
" One important research study indicates men who wore cell phones on their waist might experience a reduced sperm cell count as much as one-third.
6.
Delayed use.
You should wait for the call to connect first before putting it next to your ear if you use your phone without any headset, 7.
Avoid use in metal boxes.
If this sounds odd, don't belittle it.
By using the phone in a car or elevator it cuts the signal strength down which then forces the phone to put out more power to connect.
Extended use can affect your mental ability to make clear headed figuring in your investment decisions.
8.
About that power thing...
One should hold off using their phone if the cell signal is down to a few bars.
Less of a signal means a stronger power signal is needed for use, which sends stronger magnetic waves into your brain.
9.
A word about EMFs.
We need to protect ourselves from EMFs - electromagnetic fields.
One can buy an EMF protection device that is scientifically validated.
By doing this one can strengthen their immune system and bioenergy field against harmful effects of EMF fields pulsing through their brain.
10.
Proper nutrition supports your body.
Each person should take vitamin supplements with their diet containing such anti-oxidants as Coq10, glutathione, and catalase.
It would be wise to also add Gingo Biloba, Zinc, and Melatonin.
Cell phones have become necessary tools for investors to use in making daily trades in the currency, silver, gold, and stock markets.
Each person should do a self assessment as to how much microwave emissions they are sending into their brain daily, as these can affect their clear headedness to make the proper decisions to best manage their investments.
Remember this very important quote by a scientist when considering these suggestions: "The voluntary exposure of the brain to microwaves from hand-held mobile phones...
is the largest human biological experiment ever," says Leif Salford, Head of Research at Lund University, Sweden.
