The main reason that you've never tried Tribestan is that you simply you're not sure what it is or what it could do for you.
Nobody has ever taken the time to explain it to you.
Moreover you could have supposed that the Terrestris of Tribulus (a supplement more popular and better known), could provide you with all advantages related to Tribestan.
It is an important problem because for the past several years Terrestris of Tribulus has been confused with Tribestan.
But they are not even similar...
not close.
The Terrestris of Tribulus is a non-hormone plant which develops on beaches everywhere in the world.
Tribestan is made starting from the plant Terrestris of Tribulus, but there are no other similarities.
If they are derived from the same plant, how can they be different? Let me try to explain - Picture in your mind, you want to have orange juice freshly squeezed.
Naturally oranges are needed - but oranges are not orange juice.
Oranges consist of the skin, pulp, seeds, peel and flesh of the fruit.
When squeezed the oranges produce the juice, thus you successfully "extract" the juice; you've got what you want -- orange juice.
Leaving what the juice was made from -- battered and squashed orange remnants ...
the parts you don't need.
And if you've squeezed oranges to make the juice before, you'll know how many oranges you need to make just a small glass of juice.
It's like you need a whole cart of oranges to make only a tiny amount and it feels like is takes an age to do it - plus a real mess doing it.
So if you compare Terrestris to oranges and Tribestan as being juice.
Just as the juice is squeezed out of the orange, Tribestan is obtained by extraction from the Terrestris.
Tribestan isn't Terrestris no more than orange juice isn't orange skin, peel, flesh or seeds.
About 2000 pounds of Terrestris is needed to produce just 40 lbs of Tribestan.
Terrestris of Tribulus widely available everywhere in the world, but in Bulgaria a special fertilizer is added to the ground so that when it is gathered it has 4 times more of the vital ingredients than any other crop of Terrestris anywhere else in the world.
Protodioscin and protogracillin are claimed to be the vital matter extracted to make Tribestan.
These are said to be accountable for the increase in testosterone levels.
It is a process a little more complicated than that, however.
Tribestan can be taken to help your pituitary gland discharges luteinizing hormone, which is accountable for stimulating the testicles to produce more testosterone.
It is common for levels of hormone luteinizing and testosterone to dwindle when you take steroids or when you use testosterone boosters (such as androstenedione etc...
), your body can sense sources of external testosterone, this then reduces the amount of testosterone that is generated to maintain homeostasis.
Homeostasis means your body will try to balance itself.
Hence many people, that have used steroids for a long period, can be affected by a drastic reduction in the levels of testosterone they produce, a few even suffer a complete stop.
This is why some bodybuilders become sterile or impotent.
When external sources of testosterone are relied upon so much their own system for the production of testosterone becomes inactive.
The reason Tribestan is so different is because it isn't an external source of testosterone.
It is not testosterone; they claim it helps stimulate production of your own testosterone.
In some situations where people have taken steroids and normal production of testosterone has diminished, they say it help raise their testosterone back to acceptable levels.
Even beafter the use for bodybuilders and steroid use suffers, Tribestan was first created to treat impotence and sexual dysfunction.
In the beginning it was not even conceived for bodybuilders.
Only when subjects trying it reported substantial gains in strength and muscle size was it recognized as a sports supplement.
