Unlock the latches on each bay, and pull out the sticks of RAM from the old computer, making sure not to apply excessive pressure. - 3). Install the RAM in the memory bays of the new computer, close the case and turn on the computer. If you placed the RAM properly, the computer should boot normally.

Unplug any cables connecting the drive to the old computer, and remove the mounting screws. There will typically be four screws securing the drive to the computer. - 3).
