- 1). Ensure that your Duo memory stick is free of any casing or accessories. Due to its small size, you must insert your Duo memory stick into a larger holder in order to place it into your computer's memory card reader. Remove this or any other packaging prior to inserting it in your Sony camera.
- 2). Locate your camera's Duo memory stick port. It will appear as a small slot underneath the battery door. Ensure that there isn't another Duo memory stick already inserted.
- 3). Insert your Duo memory stick gently into the slot. Make sure to insert the end of the stick with the metal grooves first, and also that these grooves face the inside of your Sony camera's body. Listen for a "click," after which the stick with pop ever-so-slightly back against your finger--this indicates the insertion was successful.
- 4). Remove your Duo memory stick and flip it around horizontally if you don't hear the click. Due to its small size, it's easy to accidentally turn the stick the wrong way.
- 5). Close the battery door and turn your Sony camera on. Begin taking photos of anything you please.
