Kobe beef is a highly prized, juicy beef made in Kobe, Japan. It is rare to find it on American menus, but some restaurants in Boston do sell Wagyu beef, which is similar to Kobe beef and is often the closest you can get in America. Some Japanese restaurants sell the real article, though. - This casual Japanese spot in a suburb of Boston has surprisingly high prices. That's because they are selling real Kobe and Wagyu beef. The Kobe beef entree costs $38 and comes with assorted vegetables, a choice of udon noodles, Vermicelli, or steamed jasmine rice and a dessert. For non beef lovers there are other choices like chicken or lobster.
