Advantages of Writing Love Poems

What are long poems and its importance? A poem has the meaning of making, more narrowly, the making of poetry.
It is the form of literary art which uses aesthetic and rhythmic qualities of language such as sound symbolism and to evoke meanings in addition to the place where they have started it.
Poetry has a long history which was evolved from folk songs.
Ancient attempts to define poetry, such as Aristotle's Poetics, focused on the uses of speech in rhetoric, drama, song and comedy.
• The long poem is a literary genre including all the poetries of considerable length.
• The genre includes some of the most important poetry ever written.
The Mahabharata is one of the longest epic poems in the world.
It is about four times the size of the Ramayana.
The long poem thrived and gained new vitality in the hands of experimental Modernists in the early 1900s and has continued to evolve through the 21st century.
The long poem encompasses including epic, verse novel, verse narrative, lyric sequence, lyric series and montage.
In contemporary poetry, the long poem has become a space for the emergent voices of minority writers including women, post colonial subjects and the ethnically oppressed persons who seek the definitive communal voice which are told in early long poems.
How to write a love poem? • The poem should be genuine and one should be prepared to be vulnerable.
• As fast as you can, write out how you feel about this person, what happened the first time you saw him or her, when you fell in love, how you feel about the future, and whatever else comes to mind.
• Identify the phrases, words or the thoughts.
Collect these on the separate page and put them in the order which makes correct sense.
Play with your fragments by combining them into sentences and joining up similar thoughts.
• Make the writing stronger.
• Remove adverbs.
They weaken the writing, because they are the shortcuts to the jam verbs and the adjectives.
• Avoid purple prose.
Prose turns metaphorically purple when it's too flowery or sentimental.
• A cliché is a phrase that is overused, even though it might describe something in a way that makes sense.
Try using other sentences and try to reword it in a genuine way.
• Use sensory descriptors.
Make the writing more immediate by including sensory detail that will make the reader excited.
• Choose a metaphor.
A metaphor can help you express your feelings in a unique and fresh way, and make your love poem extra individualized.
If you feel up to it, you can try to find a compelling metaphor for how you feel about this person.
• Rewrite the paragraph, placing line breaks wherever you paused.
Every time you made a mark for pausing, move to a new line.
Your poem might not rhyme, but remember that not all poems must rhyme - in fact, non-rhyming poems can sometimes be more moving.
• Keep editing the poem.
You can edit your poem endlessly if you want to, but you'll have to stop at some point if you want to give it to the person you love.
Keep working with it until you're satisfied that it expresses your true feelings.
