- 1). Visit a location that has no or very few Gowalla visitors and check in.
- 2). Tap the icon with two circles near the bottom right corner of the screen.
- 3). Tap the orange button at the top of the screen and then tap on an item to drop. Please note that this orange button is only present if you're able to achieve "founder" status for that location. If you can't, the button will not be present and you won't be able to drop an item.
