- Taking place on February 17, this event is one month before St. Patrick's Day and the Irish festival which is held each March. The town celebrates the day by selling green beer at bars and having food and drink specials at the old local hotel, The Doherty.
- Each March, Clare is host to an Irish festival which lasts four days. The festival includes parades, a craft show, a raffle and Irish recipe contest. Among many other events, the festival also includes an Irish Rover contest in which participants are judged on their Irish custom. Dogs brought to the contest are given doggy treats.
- Summerfest is a festival in Clare which occurs during the summer each year. Like the Irish Festival, it takes place over four days. The event includes a concert series, garage sale, free family carnival, fireworks, a 5K walk or run, an ice cream social, a kid's race, cosmic bowling, karaoke and more.
- The Gould Farm Bed and Breakfast is located in Clare on the top of a hill. It overlooks 835 acres of land with a ski resort and golf course nearby. There are four rooms that are available to guests, named after the owner's granddaughters. As of 2011, the prices of the rooms ranged from $95 to $105 per night. Residents are able to enjoy a country breakfast and high speed Internet. For residents who get up early, they can help to feed the cattle.
Located in downtown Clare, The Doherty Hotel has been a part of the community since 1924. As of early 2011, prices range from $70 for a standard double to $120 for the JFK room during the weekdays. Prices increase on weekends and special days like New Year's Eve.
