For those looking for a cheaper alternative, there are many that are within 6 to 7 miles. As long as you leave a little extra travel time, the money you save on accommodations will more than make-up for the bit of extra travel time. The bonus is that if you have a little time to explore the city, these lower-priced hotels are closer to the popular Sydney sites.
