- 1). Click "File," then "Open" to find the image that you want to apply rounded corners to.
- 2). Click "Filters," then "Décor," then "Round Corners." The Round Corners dialog box appears.
- 3). Enter an Edge Radius in pixels. The higher this number, the more rounded the corners are, which crops more into the image.
- 4). Place a checkmark in the box that reads "Add a Drop Shadow" if you want this option. This makes the rounded-edge photo appear to cast a shadow.
- 5). Choose amounts in pixels for the Shadow X Offset and Shadow Y Offset. These determine how far the drop shadow is cast on the X and Y axes. Set the Blur Radius in pixels, which creates a soft blur around the outer edge of the drop shadow.
- 6). Place a checkmark in the box that reads "Add Background" if you want to create a layer below the photo in the background color. Uncheck this box to create transparency under the image.
- 7). Place a checkmark in the box that reads "Work on Copy" if you want to create the rounded-corner image in a new box, which leaves your original image unchanged.
- 8). Press "OK" once you apply the choices and the rounded-corner image appears. Click "File" then "Save."
