I have really been researching quite a number of anti aging cream, facial cleansers and other skin care products on the market and have been taking a good look at the ingredients in most of them and have really been shocked at some of the ingredients been used in most of these products. The government regulating body allows the manufacturers of personal care products (facial cleansers, anti aging skin care products, etc.) to make exaggerated and in some instances outright false claims regarding the ingredients in their skin care products. Many of the ingredients used in the making of these products are not even listed on the labels and those that are listed may prove to be a health hazard to consumers.

According to the Environmental Working Group 89% of 10,500 ingredients used in personal care products have not been evaluated for safety by the CIR, FDA or any other publicly accountable institution. Responsibility falls on private sector groups and on consumers themselves to determine what we are using on our bodies.

The skin once believed to be a barrier is permeable and ingredients used in facial cleansers and other skin care products can be absorbed into our bodies. Ingredient such as irritants, products with fragrance, preservatives, glycols, some sun screen. It is not unpopular to see claims such as "organic," "fragrance free," "hypoallergenic" on the labels of many skin care products, however you should be warned that not all skin care products are created equal.

However, that been said, it is very encouraging to know that not all manufacturers of skin products are trying to take disadvantage of trusting consumers, there are some companies that try to be honest and manufacture products that are safe to use and does in fact give result. During my research I have found that there are some ingredients that can be used in products, especially anti aging skin care products that will naturally cause your skin to be rejuvenated and actually get back that youthful looking glow. Products that contain ingredients such as Cynergy TK, great for aiding your body producing its own collagen and elastin, Nano Lipobelle H-EQ10, another cutting edge ingredient, which can penetrate down through seven layers of skin to produce a dramatic anti-wrinkle effect. and Phytessence Wakame, a special extract from Japanese sea kelp, which keeps your skin elastic, smooth and younger looking.

You would be surprised what a little research can reveal. Do yourself a favor do a little research on your own and you will be surprised to see that most of these skin care products contain ingredients you would not want to use on your skin. You want great anti aging facial cleansers that can actually perform as they are supposed to and bring back your skin to that youthful, wrinkle free glow it has lost over time.
