While there isnt really a ranking order of the importance of award shows, it is safe to say that every show is an excuse for stars from all over the planet to glam up and step out, ready to be rated or slated by the mortal public for their style choices. This years Golden Globes were no different, with the celebrities trying to out-do each other in the fashion stakes. How did they do?
2011 introduced the new show New Girl featuring a new favourite girl for everyone to admire. With her beautiful piercing eyes and unique look, Zoey Deschanel didnt come into the celebrity scene quietly! With a history for appearing in award-winning shows, Deschanel certainly had her style covered. She appeared at the 2012 Golden Globes with her very thick brown her worn loose to her shoulders, with a blunt square fringe to finish the look off. She looked natural and effortless, and frankly stunning!
With her reputation for being a bit of a diva both on and off screen, one thing that Lea Michelle cant be slated for was her choice of hairstyle for the awards ceremony. Her dress decision may have been somewhat questionable, but her elegant up-do was completed with a loose grip and flowing curls to keep the style groomed yet relaxed.
One of the most depressing pieces of news that 2011 bought to us had to be the relationship status of Mr George Clooney. Going from single to in a relationship, when seeing the girl who changed Clooney, it was hardly surprising! Stacey Kiebler is definitely beautiful, with hair that everyone is jealous of. Her naturally bleach blonde hair has been highlighted with darker tones to take some of the edge off, and for the Golden Globes Kiebler wore her hair in a loose up-do, again with loose curls.
80s heart throb Rob Lowe was a great ambassador for the famous men of the world. With his shaggy head of hair, Rob stood tall and proud on stage as his hair flopped neatly around the crown of his head. His dark brown hair looked in great condition, with a length that was perfect for his age flattering but not too young!
