    General Mills Corporate Scholars Award

    • The General Mills Corporate Scholars Award is offered through a partnership between the company and the United Negro College Fund (UNCF). The scholarship provides up to $5,000 as of the 2009 to 2010 school year to selected students who meet certain criteria. Students must meet the 3.25 grade point average requirement. The scholarship is open to students majoring in certain fields of study including accounting, marketing research and supply chain management. Although the scholarship is open to any student within the United States, preference is given to students from certain states including Nebraska, North Dakota and Minnesota.

    General Mills Tribal College Scholarship Program

    • American Indian or Alaskan Native students can apply for financial support through the General Mills Tribal College Scholarship Program. The scholarship is open to students who are enrolled full time at a Minnesota or New Mexico tribal college including the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute and the Leech Lake Tribal College. As of the 2009 to 2010 academic school year, the scholarship awarded $2,000 to selected winners. Students must meet a 2.5 grade point average requirement to apply. The scholarship is offered in partnership with the American Indian College Fund.

    General Mills Federal Credit Union Scholarship

    • The General Mills Federal Credit Union Scholarship is awarded to credit union members. As of the 2009 to 2010 academic school year, selected winners were awarded up to $3,000 in scholarship funds. Students must meet the 2.0 grade point average requirement and be enrolled at an accredited college or university. Board members, staff members, supervisory committee members and their immediate family are not eligible to apply for the scholarship.

    General Mills Technology Scholars Award

    • The General Mills Technology Scholars Award is open to students attending a two- or four-year college or university. The award is open to students majoring in certain fields of study including manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering and computer science. The scholarship is offered through a partnership between General Mills and the United Negro College Fund. Students must meet the 3.0 grade point average to be eligible for the award. As of the 2009 to 2010 academic school year, the scholarship awarded up to $5,000 to selected winners.
