How to Transfer Adobe Digital Edition Files

    • 1). Connect the external device, such as a USB flash drive, into one of the USB ports on your computer system. Close out the AutoPlay window that loads onto the screen.

    • 2). Locate the files that you are using in Adobe Digital Edition. These files are going to vary in location, depending on where you stored the files. Some of these files are located in the Adobe Digital Edition folder of the computer. To view these files click "Start," "Computer," "C:," "Program Files," "Adobe," then "Adobe Digital Edition." Leave the window open with the files that you want to transfer.

    • 3). Click "Start," "Computer" and double-click the removable device icon. This loads a window with all the files currently stored on the removable device. Click-and-drag the Adobe Digital Edition files into the open window to transfer a copy of the files.

    • 4). Eject the removable device from the computer, then plug it into a different computer's USB port. Open the removable device window, then click-and-drag the files from the open window onto the desktop or any other location where you want to transfer the data.
