How to Quit Claim Your Real Estate to a Business

    • 1). Locate your title company. Contact your real estate agent to locate your title company or search the Internet, the yellow pages or any documentation that you have with your title company information listed on it.

    • 2). Talk to the agents at the title company. Tell them that you want to remove yourself from the interest of the property.

    • 3). Fill out the a Quitclaim Deed form and other important paperwork to remove yourself from the property. You will also need to get forms notarized during this process. A small fee may be required. Once you fill out these forms, you will not have any interest in the property anymore. You can also have your real estate attorney to draft these documents for you as well. Once the Quitclaim Deed is signed by the grantor and accepted by the grantee, your Quitclaim Deed is complete in most states according to quitclaimdeed.com.
