How to Get Ringtones on a Net10 Phone

    • 1). Visit the Net10 website (see Resources below). Click the "Buy Phones and More" tab located at the top of the page. When the drop-down choices appear, select the "Downloads and More" link to be directed to the next page.

    • 2). Download ringtones to your phone. You'll be prompted to enter your existing phone number and serial number to begin the process. To locate your Net10 serial number, press the "Menu" key on the phone. Navigate to the "Prepaid" option and select the "OK" key. Using your up and down arrow keys on the phone, move to the "Serial Number" option and then confirm the selection by pressing the "OK" button. The serial number will immediately appear for you to copy down.

    • 3). Browse through the available ringtones on the Net10 website. Choose the ringtone you'd like to download by clicking on it. A message will be sent to your Net10 phone for you to begin the downloading process. Open the message and select the "Save" option to successfully download the ringtone.

    • 4). Select a new ringtone for your Net10 phone by doing it directly from the phone. Launch the mobile browser on your phone to access new ringtones. Once you've been successfully connected to the Internet, press the down arrow key to get to the "Ringtone" option. Click the "Select" button to confirm your choice. After locating a ringtone, press the "Select" button again to confirm that you want to download the ringtone. You'll be advised that the ringtone is available for a price and then choose the "Select" button. When the purchase confirmation message appears, leave your mobile browser session by clicking the "Exit Browser" option.

    • 5). Open the new message sent to your Net10 phone. The newly purchased ringtone will be included in the received message. Once you've read the information on your phone screen, click the "Go To" button to move forward. Your Net10 phone will confirm the successful action by displaying a "Download Complete" message across the screen. Press the "OK" button when this message appears. The new ringtone will automatically be stored in the "Multimedia" section of your phone.
