- 1). Click "Start" on the Windows desktop.
- 2). Click "All Programs," and then click "Accessories" from the menu that appears.
- 3). Click "System Tools."
- 4). Click "System Restore." The System Restore window appears. It includes a brief description of how restore features function.
- 5). Click "Restore my computer to an earlier point in time."
- 6). Click "Next."
- 7). Click a date from the calendar at which the desired partition existed.
- 8). Select a restore point from that date. Windows creates restore points automatically every 24 hours and after major system changes such as new application installations.

Windows will complete the restore and restart the system.
