Stay Connected to the Office With Your 4G Phone

Many Americans these days are trying to find ways to make themselves as valuable as they possibly can be to their current employers.
This is because the economy is such that many people are facing seriously huge rounds of layoffs at their companies, or at least they are being threatened with the potential if their corporation's profits do not turn around.
This leaves a lot of Americans quite nervous.
When you have student loans to pay off, or an installment on the mortgage that is due every month, or a child's future and college tuition to save up for, the idea of getting laid off from your position is one that sends you into an absolute panic.
And so you want to make yourself stand out at the office - in a good way - so that when it comes time to reduce the staff by 5%, your boss things of you as someone who cannot be replaced.
One way that some employees are finding they can make themselves stand out as having a bright future at the company is by showing their utmost dedication to the work of the firm.
They want to prove that they are not just there for the paycheck, but that they actually believe in and are committed to the success of the company itself.
A way to demonstrate this to a boss or an employer in general is to be readily available whenever a need may arise.
It is allowing your personal life and your work life to mingle a little bit, in a way that might have previously seemed like it was crossing some kind of line.
Having a 4G phone makes this even easier to do.
Very recently, the fact that wireless Internet has become a ubiquitous part of people's lives has had a major impact on the work force.
People can communicate faster, more cheaply, and more directly than ever before.
But now that a new generation of cell phones with mobile broadband access have been released - the 4g - people are more easily accessible outside of work ours than ever! Before, if your boss sent you an email at 8 p.
m.
on a Tuesday, or in the afternoon on a Saturday, you had an excuse not to have seen it.
Maybe you were out of Richmond that weekend.
You could say that you did not have Internet access over the weekend, or that you simply forgot to log onto your wireless Internet connection and check your email (or maybe that truly was the case!).
But with a 4G phone, the second that you receive correspondence - from a friend, a coworker, or a family member - you little phone begins to buzz, alerting you to the new communication.
You could of course suggest that your phone was turned off when the email was sent (or, even more radically, actually turn it off!), but that seems less likely to fly.
You can instantly log onto the Internet and get the message, and possibly respond If the subject seems worthy enough.
This allows you to stay ahead and on the cutting edge with your company!
