- Cut branches from a tree to make a crystal tree. Each branch should have many smaller branches so that it has an overall treelike appearance. Spray-paint the branches white or silver and hang dozens of small crystal ornaments from them. Place one in a container on each table.
- Reuse the flowers from the ceremony. Place the bridal bouquet, as well as those of the bridesmaid and the maid of honor, on tables as centerpieces.
- Purchase strings of small, inexpensive white Christmas lights. Wrap each one in sheer bobbinet and hang them from the ceiling, running from a central point outward to form a hanging lighted canopy overhead. Make sure the plugs for each string meet at the central point to make it easier to plug them all into a single power source.
- Green lengths of ivy give the suggestion of spring and new beginnings. However, instead of using the costly real thing, buy inexpensive plastic ivy and wrap lengths of it around posts or pillars or table centerpieces.
