* Statue of Liberty - This famous statue stands on an island at the mouth of the Hudson River.
It was given from France to the United States in the 19th century and dedicated in 1886.
* Times Square - This is one of the most famous locations in New York.
It is known for being surrounded by animated neon and television screens, and has feature in many movies and TV programs.
* United Nations Headquarters - This is the working headquarters of the UN, used by the General Assembly and Security Council, as well as for other functions.
* USS Intrepid - This is a World War II aircraft carrier with many aircraft on its deck.
It is now part of the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, which also includes a submarine (USS Growler) and a Concorde airliner.
