System Recovery Boot CD 4.X Instructions

    • 1). Insert a USB stick into a free USB port on your computer and back up your personal files.

    • 2). Remove the USB stick and shut down your computer. Disconnect any other external devices you may have installed -- printers, MP3s etc.

    • 3). Start up the computer and press the "ESC" key immediately to change to boot sequence.

    • 4). Insert the system-recovery CD and wait for it to appear on the boot-device list. Use the arrow keys to scroll to it, then press enter.

    • 5). Press the "R" key to initiate the system-recovery process then follow the on-screen instructions. Once the process is finished, your computer will restart itself.
