Prospects - Who Are Your Prospects And What Do They Want?

Prospects are out there waiting for you right now but who are prospects and what do they want? Before we start you have to realize that there are so many opportunities out there that it can be very overwhelming.
Most people go out there looking for something but are always very skeptical knowing there are scams mixed in with the true opportunities.
But how can you help them to know that you are there for them and that you are the real deal? The first thing you need to do is to get your opportunity out there for people to find you.
You can't just start a business and expect people to come banging down your door to join your or buy your products.
You need to get quality information out there for them to see.
Put information out there that can help people.
Realize that making money is important but you also have to realize that people want to feel you are there to help them.
They don't want to feel that they sign up with you or purchase your products and you will be gone.
Make sure they realize that you are there to help them and you are not going anywhere.
They need to feel you will always be there for them if they need you.
Make sure you know a lot about the opportunity that you are in.
Be ready to answer questions, your prospect will most likely have a lot of them.
It is very important that you are always honest with them.
Do not tell them what you think they want to hear.
You do not want someone to sign up with you thinking your opportunity is something that it is not.
Your prospects are looking for a leader.
They want to join someone that they feel will be able to help them and guide them.
Your prospects may not know exactly what they need.
Listen to your prospects.
Help guide them in the direction they need to go even if it is not with you.
Yes, you do not want someone to sign up with you knowing that your opportunity is not what they are looking for.
Think about it, if you tell someone that your opportunity is not what they need right now how do you think that looks for that person.
They will not be expecting that.
Who knows down the road they may be ready and they can come to you ready to sign up.
You will have already built up that trust so that will be one less obstacle for you.
As you strive to grow your business, it is easy to get caught up chasing every lead that comes your way.
But all prospects are not created equal, and some are more likely than others to turn into members of your team.
Always remember that your prospects are just like you and me.
Don't forget: You are a prospect to someone out there too.
Which defenses do you use? How do you want to be treated when someone is marketing to you? How often do you want someone calling? How much freedom and time would you like to have to think about a product, to ask questions and to make your decision? How do you want to feel about the process when it is over?
