- 1). Open up Microsoft Excel by going to the "Start Menu" then go to "All Programs" and click on the Excel icon. Go to the the "Tools" tab at the top of the screen and click "Data Analysis."
- 2). Click "Anova: Two-Factor With Replication" or "Anova: Two-Factor Without Replication" and click "OK."
- 3). Select the cells that you want to use for the data under "Input Range." For example if you want to run the ANOVA on cells A1 to A20 type in "A1: A20." You can also just highlight the cells using the mouse cursor. Click on "Labels in First Row."
- 4). Enter the cells where you want your data to be displayed under "Output Range," or select "New Worksheet Ply" for it to create a new work sheet or "New Workbook" to create an entirely new workbook. Click "OK" and Excel will run through your data, do the calculations and display the information where you requested it.
