- 1). Place a large, white, round lace doily or a small round tablecloth on top of an attractive wooden end table. Center the doily or table cloth in the center of the table. Set two white taper or pillar candles evenly apart in the middle of the tablecloth.
- 2). Arrange freshly cut flowers around the bases of the candles. Leave room around the flowers and between the two candles for the wedding ring boxes if there will be no ring bearer.
- 3). Make two identical floral bouquets and set each on a pedestal on either end of the table. Use the same types or colors of flowers that you arranged on the table.
- 4). Put white taper or pillar candles on two tall candelabras and place them behind the flower bouquets on the pedestals. Arrange flowers around the bases of the candles, and make sure the flowers are under metal bases so that dripping wax doesn't burn the flowers.
- 1). Place two 7-foot-tall, 2-inch-thick sticks parallel to each other on the ground, about 4 feet apart. Measure and cut another 2-inch-thick stick to 4 feet and 6 inches long and place it on top of the two 7-foot sticks.
- 2). Wrap twine around the ends of the sticks where they cross to attach them, forming an 'X' with the twine. Wrap tightly so they are secured together and tie the ends with a triple overhand knot. Apply epoxy adhesive to the knots and in different places on the twine to make sure the twine doesn't come loose. This is the frame for an outdoor arch.
- 3). Dig two 2 1/2-inch-wide, 6-inch-deep holes 4 feet apart where you want the arch to be. Place the ends of the sticks into the holes and pack dirt around them to anchor it into the ground.
- 4). Drape 4 yards of tulle along the sides and top of the frame. Wrap floral wire around two identical floral bouquets and twist the ends of the wire to secure the bouquets. Wrap the ends of the wire around the two sticks and position the tulle so that it hangs in front of the bouquet stems to hide them.
