Adobe Office offers Buzzword as the word processor software, ConnectNow as the whiteboard and web conferencing software, Share as the online file sharing software, a PDF converter and My Files. It also includes Adobe Acrobat 9. Adobe Office is available as public beta and is an integrated suite of programs for collaboration online and access no matter where you are. - Adobe Office offers 5 GB of free online storage. It is not possible, however, to upload video or audio files, including Adobe Flash files. The only documents that can be stored are SWF files, Office documents, PDFs, images and other Adobe formats such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
- While there is plenty of space to save files, it can be difficult to manage them. Adobe Office does not let you arrange files into separate folders or to tag specific documents.
- Files can be uploaded en mass by dragging them using the AIR application or the web browser. It is not possible to upload files by using email.
- It is not possible to search for file names or even search within documents. There is no search feature for files.
- All files must be downloaded locally before images or text from those files can be copied and pasted into another document, because all documents are rendered in the Flash format. The file will be downloaded and then converted to Flash.
- It is only possible to convert five documents into PDF files online. This is very low compared to other services such as Scribs, Zamzar and Google Docs.
- Files can only be exported from Adobe Office one by one and not in bulk. Additionally the documents can all be published online as HTML documents. But any mobile device that is not compatible with the Flash file format cannot access the documents.
