3 Breakup Tips For Boys

Most of us have been through that stage in a relationship when both the parties begin to feel like is a drag and neither of the two is looking forward to things anymore. That's where most of us try and fix things, yet another time, hoping they will eventually get back to the happy times. Whereas, in reality, it will temporarily make things look less complicated and the troubles will keep coming back. So it is important to know when to put an end to the relationship, rather than putting yourself and her through all the pain of trying to fix things and failing over and over again.

Instead of dragging a stagnant relationship, one should know how and when to take an action. This is not going to be very easy but it will be absolutely worth it. If you are sure that you are not happy with this relation anymore, this is how you should go about it:

She should be the first one to know -

Don't go on telling your friends that you are about to break up. Show some respect and talk to her before you talk to anyone else about it. It will hurt her more if she gets to know your plans through of your or her friends. And don't just breakout the news to her without giving it a thought. If she is not emotionally very stable and you think this news might break her heart, do it over the weekend. This will give her time to recover from it and she could also spend some time with her friends, which would help her recover from it faster.

Never say it over text message -

No man should ever send a breakup text to her girlfriend. If you don't love her anymore, at least be courteous say it to her in a face to face conversation. Phone calls and text messages are fine for small talks but when it comes to discussing an issue this big, its better you do it face to face. Let her take it out on you but stay firm. This will do the job.

Don't fear the tears -

There are no take-backs in a breakup. Whether she feels this decision is right or not, tears are inevitable. Be sympathetic when she starts crying but don't let the tears influence your decision. If you think you might be drawn by the overflow of emotions, makes plans with your friends later that evening. This will ensure that the breakup process isn't dragged on longer than necessary and that you're not alone if you feel bad about what just happened.
